West's seed 5 takes out your 2 and 4. The other scrimmages have fallen heavily in the west's favor, as well. No one from the top 8 in the west lost a single game to the East, this season. I think this was our season. Good job, westerners!

I noticed that too. The West dominated this season.

Hell of a game, Beasters. I thought it was over when you guys went up 34-17 and was about to turn it off and come congratulate you. Something in my head told me 'it's the championship, may as well watch all of it." Boy, am I glad I did.

OK, I'm kididng, I was gonna watch it all the way anyway. But I really did think this just wasn't going to be our day. I was right about one thing, though; that was one hell of a show we put on (we meaning both teams.) I knew you guys had a heck of an air show, but my god.

So I guess that makes our team unique: we're now the ONLY team in all of GLB with a BBB7 Western Conference Trophy AND a BBB7 League Trophy. (Once Bort gets them on the page, anyway.) Sorry, I'm babbling a bit, I really don't have a clue how to handle being on top. I'm not used to it.

Congratulations Jack and the rest of the BMD krewe. I couldn't believe we went up like that, and the fact that we were tied going into the 4th Q is amazing, imo. You guys outlevel us at EVER position, if I remember correctly, and we made a real match out of it. I think ultimately our lower stamina and our over-agressivness on 4th downs did us in. Gave up the short field WAY to much and put our D in some terrible spots. We knew we couldn't run effectively on your higher level DL and LB so we put our aerial game to the test.

Man. Think I shed a tear when I logged on and saw trophies on my home page. I knew they existed, might have even seen one a time or two, but to actually have one of my own...and it only took us a full calendar year...*sniff*

Thanks guys. Trying to squeeze as much enjoyment out of it now before we officially move up to the meat grinder.

I have tasted victory in another league and hope to one day share the flavor with the Oregon Lumberjacks.
