I just want to say that "Lay and Pray" is actually hated by most real MMA fans and MMA fighters. Ask any fighter who lost because of Lay and Pray and they will say how cheap a tactic it is.

Please try that quoting thing once more, you made it look as if that was my statement twice now

fans hate it (it's not exciting), but it's legal. There's nothing wrong with it, was the point. I wasn't saying 'everyone hated it but now they love it' I was saying it's a fair tactic that people use. And if you CAN'T defend against lay and pray, then you are not a very good fighter, anyway. If someone is going to use lay and pray, you off-set that with good take-down defense and BJJ submissions. And if you don't have those... well, you're just a walking accident, anyway.

People complain non stop about those, but they are looking for exciting punch fights, not cerebral chess games. I'm not looking to excite my opponent, I'm looking to beat them, was my point. Beat them legally and fairly, but beat them.
