Hey guys, I made my first kicker and he's consistant with PATs, however went 1/5 with FGs in his first game (Level 4). I have something like 45 kicking and 20(ish) strength. What should I do to make him a more consistant FG kicker?

cant really get much dependability from a level 4. hopefully you havent messed up your build too bad so far(which i fear you have, kicking not capped at level 4)

Well, tell me what you think. The only thing I really considered originally when I boosted him to level 4 was kicking. My reaction after I remembered strength was... ">_<"

At level 4, you should have everything invested in kicking and 0 invested in strength and SAs.

Hell, I'm waiting until kicking, confidence, and vision are to at least the third cap and agility is capped before I'm even going to touch strength.

Honestly? Retire and re-roll.

Put all equipment in kicking, and all SP into kicking until 5:1 or 6:1 cap while intense training CONF/VIS. Then put into CONF until 5:1 while intense training VIS/AGL. Then worry about VIS, STR, AGL, and SA.

yep, retire and start again

str is not that important. its nice to have some, but its not the reason you are missing in the early levels.

start again. focus on only kicking until its atleast 3capped (68)

then confidence, then vision, then strength. then the lesser attributes like speed, agi and jumping.

I concur with the previous with the added caveat of this: Keep rolling your initial attributes until you get at least as 22. There's no reason any kicker should not be 1st capped in kicking by Level 3.

Why do people insist on losing money and boosting from 1 to 4?

Ugh he boosted 11 guys from 1 to 4. I wish you ran the math. You just paid for 33 boosts, probably like $50, and in the long run the XP gained will be essentially zero, and you make the builds worse as well. Boosting from 1 to 4 only gets you less than 1000 more XP after a season has gone by.. and that's 20 times training at lower value, and being late on all of your caps
