I'm considering retiring my TE because I've yet to find a team that will utilize him fully. I see him as a waste of 600 flex/season really. But if there's something I'm missing let me know. What does my TE need?

He has good numbers for the season. I would get carrying up into the 30's+. It will help with the transition from catch to run and may even break a few tackles for you.

Carrying as Pelland said, and some confidence. You do have good numbers, and your team rushes almost twice what it passes. I wouldn't complain about what you have, but if you want more, look for a team that passes more.

I'd say that's a very good build.

There's a big trend towards specialists atm so unless you were breaking tackles then maybe leave strength lower and put the points into agility or something.

Other than that the fault is with your OC for not using him properly (unless opposing DC's are covering him too well).

Carrying it is, thank!

As for his numbers being good this season? I guess if you just look at the overall numbers. I complained about his lack of usage this season and so the team fed him the ball a ton at the tail end of the season versus some gutted teams. When I was being recruiting I was told over and over how my guy would be incorporated into the offense. He hasn't been. At all. He's had 2-3 big games against chumps but overall, especially the first 10 or so games of the season before I began to ask what the deal was. I mean, I wasn't trying to bre a prick but seriously. If someone promises you something and doesn't deliver you should be able to ask what the deal is, right?

My TE would get ZERO looks earlier in the season. Not even a single ball thrown his way. That has been my experience with my TE. I keep trying to find a team that will use him. They say they will and then, they don't. It has me to the point I'm ready to just retire him. Tired of spending flex on him to be an afterthought in an offense.

I know what you mean. I found a great team and had a great year in season 7, but the owner decided to give up the team. Then half way through this season (8), same thing, the owner gave up and got rid of the team. The new team rushes a lot more, and half the game I don't get utilized. You just have to keep trying to find a good team.

To be fair though Power, this was the season of the running back. Your player's build is pretty damn good for the level, and would excel in a season where the game is a bit more balanced. It's jsut that a lot of teams found themselves running a lot more this season, and my guess is your team probably was as well. Your guy would definitely be an assett to any AAA team and lower though. Maybe sign him with someone, but dont boost him until you feel youre getting a fair shake? Maybe an A or AA league team where he wont be facing level 50s every game.

You have a great TE, train confidence and carry on intense all season and you will be all set. though some teams don;t throw to the TE, try not to hold it against your OC this season. if at all possible, the smart game plan was to lean on the running so there was a drop in production for many WRs and TEs regardless of build

oh and your probably better off investing in the catching attribute VA as opposed to sure hands. well, before the likely off-season nerf anyway
