just wondering how effective they are in higher level leagues. for me they are decent but my blockers need more speed still before they will be able to do much.

As OC for our team, as well as being the agent for our elusive back, I can definitively say that HB screens ARE effective, given the right matchup.

Obviously, the key is understanding your opponent's defensive tendencies and being able to exploit them. For an over-aggressive team, screens are a great way to make them pay.
