Sorry about being late guys. 6-2 last week 98-22 overall
1. Monmouth V 16. Richmond Rebel Yell. Monmouth's D took it to the Navs on Tuesday to give them their 2nd straight league loss. Another big day by Zonk kept the Evil Monkeys at #1 heading into the last 2 games.
Richmond got shut out for the 3rd time this season on the way to losing their 14th in a row.
Evil Monkeys win 56-7
2. Washington Wolfpack V 7. San Diego Lightning. The Wolfpack cruised to another easy win. Putting up 87 points against the lowly Vaqueros led by Street and Partlow as always. Defensively they held Dallas to 159 yards and picked up 4 sacks. It looks like the week 16 game with the Navs is going to be for the 2nd seed in the playoffs.
SDL jumped out to a 24-3 halftime lead than managed to hold off a late Compton Rally. Despite being outgained and losing the turnover battle the Lightning were able to secure the 10 point win.
WW wins 48-28
3. Lincoln Navigators V 11.Compton Vikings. The Navs dropped their 2nd league game in a row in a hard fought loss to Monmouth. Both Greene and Shock were held under 4 yards per carry for the game and when that happens it's tough for Lincoln to get a W. The Navs D was able to pick off Drago 2 times but they didn't have any answers for Zonk.
Compton won the statistical battles with SDL but lost the game. 3 big plays in the 4th quarter made the game close but the Vikes are now looking at a losing record in the opening USA PRO season if they can't upset Lincoln.
Navs win 48-28
4. HHW V 13. Las Vegas Freebirds. HHW is BACK they have bounced back from a 3 game Losing streak to win 5 in a row. The rebound can be directly attributed to the addition of not one but 2 power backs to their offensive arsenal. Mix in the fact that their D has stepped it up of late and the Cannes are going to be a difficult playoff opponent for anyone.
4 staright losses for the Freebirds and it doesn't get easier this week. The latest loss was a tough defensive battle with South Bay. The Birds controlled MR. SMITH but gave up a big play on specials that cost them the win.
HHW wins 41-10
5. Minnesota Marauders V 14. Dallas Vaqueros. MM rebounded from their tough loss to SBS with an easy one over the Bucks. 3 Marauders backs picked up over 100 yards on the ground and the Marauder D beat the crap out of Sheppard.
Dallas better be happy about that week 2 Win over the Bucks or they would be AAA bound.
MM wins 51-17
6. Chicago Hedgehogs V 12. Parma Burglars. The Hogs put up an impresive offensive show against BSB. Koziol threw for over 300 yards and Watson picked up 162 on the ground on almost 7 per carry. 3 Big int's by the D helped the cause.
Parma had their Mini 2 game Win streak snapped by Spicewood. They Burglars were torched by the Longhorn air attack and doomed by their own lack of running game.
CH wins 35-24
8. Spicewood Longhorns V 10 South Bay Spartans BIG offensive game for the Longhorns. 391 passing and 162 from Bukka equals a lot of points. Defensively they held the Burglars to 270 total yards and 37% completion. Solid all around win.
SBS Kept their hopes of a .500 record alive with a hard fought win over the Freebirds. A huge KR return TD by Carl Lewis mixed in with a great defensive effort let them get away with a 4 point win.
Spicewood wins 35-17
9. BSB V 15. Columbus Bucks. Both got their butts kicked last week
BSB wins 38-14
