Has anyone an idea how to avoid this kind of plays?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=454735&pbp_id=14073030

right side is open, but instead of bursting downfield our RB jumps around and turn back inside. This happens to him on 3 out of 4 outside runs. We dances around, jumping back inside and get takled for a loss.

He has 92 speed, 76 agility, 62 vision, 10 in quick cut. (without VA)

rushing style was set to 35% elusive in this game, he tried everything from 0-100% elusive this season and nothing worked, this plays happen to him every game.

Strange theory is that his vision is in a darkhole right now. It his high enough to see that the CB is breaking the block of the WR but to low to recognize that running straight upfield is way better than cutting back inside.

One reason to believe this, is that our other speed/elsuive back who has more speed, agility and only 51 vision donīt have this problems, he normally goes outside and seldom cuts back inside.

it's on of a zillion problems with the sim ... higher vision shouldn't make him run less effectively no matter what, but apparently it does sometimes. keep on building him the way that makes sense to you. the sim will change twice a season anyway. maybe you'll get lucky and bort will choose your type of build to work every now and then.

I guess you could put better blocking in at WR. If the CB doesn'tbreak the block and the HB goes outside you'll know that was it.

can it be that he is runniing a 100% elusive style ?

but better vision, might have kept him behind his blocker.

Perhaps its related to running style? Criative or not?

Stab in the dark, but rule out Aura of Intimidation SA effect by Lawrence Trailer? Could that make your player appear to hesitate and be unsure? Hearing footsteps so to speak?

no he was set to 20% elusive. He had this plays in every game regardless of his rushing style. Happen with 20%, with 40% with 70% with 100% elusive. It happen on almost every outside run, most of the time he stop and cuts inside or begin to dance around.
