I have been thinking agility is the much more important attribute, thus all my equipment should be in there.

What do you guys think? fyi, I'm not sure what spot I will be playing as I've been slow building for the 13 capped teams next season.

I don't buy into the idea of putting all eq in one attribute. At least not for linebackers.

So split evenly would be best advised? Or would another attribute like strength come into play?

Speed.

My blitzing ROLB uses around a 1:1 ratio to good effect, but I hear LOLBs need all speed to cover the fastest TEs. Wouldn't know about MLBs but I'm personally not of the opinion that all speed is a good idea there.

Depends on which LB spot you want to play.

It's all up to you, but I would keep it only attribute per equipment. So if you split the equipment, don't split within the equipment. That way if you get into a scheme with an owner who wants more speed or one with more agility, etc, you don't have to rebuild all .

I'd put it into speed, agility, or more likely, some combination of both.

I think it depends on the position but my opinion....

RoLB's 10 point spread favoring speed. The RoLB seems to be a blitz'r and if the QB hands it off he usually has to run clear across the field to make the tackle.

MLB even or a 5 point spread favoring agility. The MLB does a little of everything but mainly chases down the RB or blitz's. Hence he has to have more agility to get up to the LoS faster.

LoLB 5-10 spread favoring speed. The LoLB mostly covers the TE and sometimes the run. I think a lolb still needs good agility to make a cut at last second and deflect a pass to the TE.

Of course it's going to be differant for every team. I would ask your D coord what he likes and how he plans to use you.

Nice breakdown and the last line is especially important. As far as the TE is concerned, if the LOLB can't keep up, there is always that SS over the top and more than likely, he's got the speed to keep up.

speed, you should have a very high natural agility.
