The situation in Garuda after week 13.

1 Louisiana Screaming Pelicans 13-0-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Everyone
Real teams left on schedule: Hong Kong Hustlers, Three Kingdom Warriors
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: Unless the Pelicans are forced to vacate wins, they are the top seed.
Playoff likeliness: Already Clinched.

2 Bangkok Tweetys 10-3-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Singapore, South Austin, Bangkok Lightning, Manila, Bali
Real teams left on schedule: Hong Kong Highlanders, Semarang Red Bulls
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: Well, Bali helped the Tweetys out, as their loss to the Highlanders clinched a playoff spot for Bangkok, despite the fact the Tweetys lost for the 3rd time in 4 games. They're in the playoffs, but their shot at the #2 seed is in jeopardy. They'll need to win out to make sure they get it.
Playoff likeliness: Clinched

3 Three Kingdom Warriors 9-4-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Hong Kong Highlanders, Semarang, Singapore, Bali, Bangkok Tweetys
Real teams left on schedule: Hong Kong Hustlers, Louisiana Screaming Pelicans
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: 3KW continues to impress in their first season in the pros, by knocking of the number 2 team in a nail biter. They will win this week, and a win over the Highlanders the following weekend will clinch a playoff spot. They can clinch this week if both The Highlanders and The Warlords lose.
Playoff likeliness: 4.5

4 Singapore Flames 9-4-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Hong Kong Hustlers, Hong Kong Highlanders, Semarang Red Bulls, South Austin Bats
Real teams left on schedule: Bangkok Lightning, Manila Warlords, Bali Waves
Gutted teams left on schedule: 0
Status: Need to win 2 of their next 3 games to get in, or win one and get some teams to lose.
Playoff likeliness: 4

5 Semarang Red Bulls 9-4-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Hong Kong Hustlers, South Austin Bats
Real teams left on schedule: Manila Warlords, Bali Waves, Bangkok Tweetys
Gutted teams left on schedule: 0
Status: Their win over the Lighting helped them out in their playoff hunt, but they still need to win at least 2 of their next 3, or one with some other teams losing.Playoff likeliness: 4

6 South Austin Bats 9-4-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Bali, Hong Kong Hustlers, Three Kingdom, Hong Kong Highlanders
Real teams left on schedule: Bangkok Lightning, Manila Warlords
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: After their win this week, the Bats will be at 10-4, and in great position to make the playoffs. They have two games against contenders left, and those games could go either way. If they win one of those they are in for sure. If they lose both, they will need some other teams to lose.
Playoff likeliness: 4

7 Hong Kong Hustlers 8-5-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Bangkok Lightning, Bangkok Tweetys
Real teams left on schedule: Louisiana, Three Kingdom, Hong Kong Highlanders
Gutted teams left on schedule: 0
Status: The Hustlers need to pull of a couple of big upsets in order to make the playoffs. Three losses will pretty much keep them out of the playoffs. They may be able to get in w/ 2 losses, but they will need all the cards to fall in their favor. A win over the Highlanders and an upset of either LSP or 3KW should be enough to get them in. If they win out, they're in for sure.
Playoff likeliness: 2.5

8 Bangkok Lightning 8-5-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Manila, Three Kingdom, Hong Kong Highlanders
Real teams left on schedule: Singapore Flames, South Austin Bats
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: Their loss to the Red Bulls hurt their chances, but they are not out yet. If they win out, they are in for sure. If they lose to both the Flames and the Bats, they might be out of the playoffs w/ a 9-7 record.
Playoff likeliness: 3

9 Hong Kong Highlanders 7-6-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Semarang Red Bulls, Manila, Bali
Real teams left on schedule: Bangkok Tweetys, Hong Kong Hustlers
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: Beating Bali greatly improved their chances. If they can pull off an upset against the Tweetys, and beat the Hustlers, they just very well might be in the playoffs. It's getting more and more likely that the season ending showdown in Hong Kong will determine the last playoff spot.
Playoff likeliness: 2.5

10 Bali Waves 7-6-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Bangkok Lightning, Manila, Hong Kong Hustlers,
Real teams left on schedule: Semarang Red Bulls, Singapore Flames
Gutted teams left on schedule: 1
Status: Losing to the Highlanders really hurt Bali's chances. Now, even if they win out, they aren't guaranteed a spot. They're going to need some other teams to lose.
Playoff likeliness: 1.5

11 Manila Warlords 7-6-0
Holds tie-breaker over: Hong Kong Hustlers, Three Kindgom
Real teams left on schedule: Semarang Red Bulls, Singapore Flames, South Austin Bats
Gutted teams left on schedule: 0
Status: After a gimme last week, the Warlords will need to win out in order to make the playoffs, and even then it's still no lock. The odds are stacked up against them, as 2 of the remaing 3 teams beat the Warlords a season ago. They still have a shot to get in with 2 wins, but will need a lot of help. Two losses ends their season.
Playoff likeliness: 1

Nice work again PRJ!! Interesting reading, and it's kinda fun to try and figure out who we will be facing come round 1. I almost wish LSP had lost a few games so we could be in the thick of things.

Wait. No i don't. But it is definitely a good read!

Well you kind of are... whoever gets the last seed is who you are facing in round one.
