I have a level 8 FB that is built up with high strength and power thru, and that's about it. The other attributes are very low.

I have his running style set to -100 power and he still tries to juke. The only play he gets the ball on is FB Weakside Slam (Strong I), where he is supposed to hit the hole between the LG and LT.

What can I do to keep this from happening? Is it a lack of confidence?



edit: I posted this on the HB forum because I thought y'all would have more experience with rushing than the FB forum. Sorry if that upsets anyone.

Weird. I dont know.

No agility or speed.

I know you need agility and speed to make a cut, but what can I do to keep him from trying to make a cut? He should run straight through the hole that the play is designed for at -100 running style. I am surprised he is even seeing another hole with the low vision he has.

maybe he is getting scared...hows his confidence?

Confidence is low, 11.6. That's what I thought could be the problem, can anyone confirm before I waste a bunch of SP?

Well youīre going to waste skill points anyway, itīs the nature of the game. So donīt hold back.

No VIS or SPD. CON might have something to do with it to.

Dont waste SP on CON, just train it. Get his VIS/SPD up IMO

Yes, train confidence.

I would work on getting his speed to the first softcap, you're going to need it anyway for lots of reasons, and see if the problem goes away.
