I'm in a Cover 0 4-3 blitzing the ROLB but why doesn't the MLB cover the RB out of the back field?

because he is covering the FB?

You blitzed the guy that was responsible for the HB.

Shouldn't the SS pick up the responsibility then? I thought cover 0 meant everyone grabbed a man.

This has been one of my pet peaves about the way the AI works. Blitzing from the weakside is punished if they decide to have the backs go out for a pass. I can't wait until the D play creator comes out, and I won't have to worry about this anymore.

If you play dime against 3 WRs shouldnt the 4th CB pick up the TE? Yes. But 200 yards later you find out he goes uncovered. Sorry for whining.

I've seen this too, and frankly it leaves you defenseless. It's basically a crap shoot, and in my opinion a bug. I had a play (http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=420527&pbp_id=11447780) where 3 receivers were doubled while the HB went completely uncovered. I notice that it's against a Pro Set which distinctly lines up the HB on the left. I wonder if that's what is triggering the defender to no cover him.

Instead of covering the HB, they decided to double the TE??

You could call it a problem or a bug, but this is how the AI works. Figuring out who covers who and who you can blitz for different coverage shells is part of learning the game.

Sadly, this is not a football simulator as of yet. It really is just a game that mimics football that you have to figure out the "rules" to. Sorry you guys had to learn the hard way.

When blitzing the ROLB from CV0 the MLB takes the FB if you had NOT sent the ROLB then the MLB would have picked up the HB.
