My QB is lvl 19 with most of my WR's at lvl 18.. Should I even bother with a favorite target?

I like using it personally, although I'm not sure it matters that much who your target is. I usually pick our top WR and our HB as favorites. If your WR's are all equal, or weak, you might want to consider setting your TE or HB as one of your favorites.

seems like the consensus since season 1 has been favor targets = bad

Our tight-end generally isn't matched up with a LB who can block him so I set him as favorite target to get lots of quick completions.

TE would be your best bet. has worked in the past

You should only do it if you have a complete beast as a WR or TE who nobody can cover.

A TE with 50 Strength, 100 speed and 50 catching would qualify imo
