1 Saint-Petersburg Phoenixes 6-0 Well they did it… They knocked off the #1 Destroyers to claim the top spot. They did it in from the ashes style. They showed the can hang with any team in the league and then some. They have another huge game tomorrow against the Chattanooga Quarantine. If they win this one it gives them the leg up to secure all those dollar dollar bills by being the #1 seed. Can they do it again or will they fall flat without the underdog label?????

3 Somerset Jersey Devils 6-0 The Devils jump to #3 with a still undefeated record but they did not look impressive against the Drakes… They gave up 300 yards and a good number of points. Did they rest their starters? Did they coast? Not that it matters because a Win is a Win……They play the Scallywags next. A little more of a test but not much more….. NJ by 20.

4 California Destroyers 5-1 Well one of the big 4 has taken a hit…The CA Destroyers were well destroyed by the upstart Saint-Petersburg Phoenixes. 41-21 hurts. They were almost doubled up. They managed only about 300 yards of Offense. They got only 30 yards on the ground. This relegates them to 4th place. Huge drop!!!! Not really they remain one of the elites. They bounced back to destroy Las Vegas but everyone beats Las Vegas.

5 Houston Apollos At 5-1 What a record. At first glance it looks great but a closer look reveals they have only really played one team and they lost that game. Second half of the year will see these astronauts drop back to earth… I predict 1 more win and then a loss to the Devils…. .Still this is a playoff team in this league…..

6 Los Angeles Ice Drakes 4-2 These guys managed to put up 28 on NJ the only problem was that they gave up 56…. Nice symmetry guys… They are still in good shape record wise but there is really no change. Beating the shitty teams but loosing to the big boys. No real test for their next contest but on the 12 they will get a real gauge of where they are as a team when they go into cyberspace to ball……..

7 New Jersey Scallywags 5-1 I could simply cut and paste my statements about the Apollos and reuse it here. I would have to change references to space to references to the sea….. I believe that their ship is going to take heavy cannon fire in their next game…. Prediction they will loose by 30 to the Devils….but there is no shame in that for this bunch… playoffs are still there but the second half of the season will be interesting.

8 San Diego Cyberballers 4-2 After 2 losses in a row the Ballers as we like to call ourselves have ripped off 2 wins…. Not that the competition was all that but we have to beat up on someone right…. We have to move beyond that basic AI and get into some real X’s and O’s or we will crash like a copy of Windows Vista. Our next game is against, for lack of a better term, a a team that is “dead wood” so I think we will run it up to 3 in a row but after that we have a real contest against LA…..

#9 Kent Blood Ravens 4-2 These guys were given a big time beat down by the Ballers. Gave uo 80+ and only scored 13…. That hurts. Some might even call it a blood letting. They quickly turned around and did the same to Dead wood. Can these guys steal a win against a legit team and make the playoffs or will their bubble burst and be on the outside looking in?
