datong, most combo HBs can become power HBs with a simple eq. switch and if power HBs get nerfed, they can be balanced or elusive HBs.

I know, I'm not calling for a "nerf" in PBs because we don't have one. There are some obvious design flaws with the PB right now that I think should be fixed, that's all. I don't think what I've stated so far are unreasonable. But it's hard to carry on an intelligent conversation in GLB sometimes without people trolling.

I think that other than stamina, which seems to have had little effect against you guys (although it could be your morale was equally crappy with Csonkas stamina by the end of the game), that there is no nerf needed for powerbacks.

The idea that carrying should be more important than strength for breaking tackles is laughable at best. What do you think is going to do more damage - the back who has great skills with shifting his ball carrying hand and uses great technique, or the back who can squat 600 lbs and bench 400 lbs.

It's obvious to me what the problem is. A PB nerf isn't needed. I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise.

If what you say is true, then all the power lifters would be great running backs in the NFL and all the Olympian power lifters should be getting offers from the NFL. Unfortunately, track stars will become decent receivers before power lifters become good running backs.

Right, just because you can lift a lot of weight instantly makes you a great athlete too.

My point, which you've already disagreed with - is strength should be more important than carrying for breaking tackles.

I agree Powerbacks need nerfing, I was just saying you could have a PB without having to get a player who if PBs were nerfed, would be totally ineffective.(lets all be honest, Bort usually nerfs something to complete ineffectiveness because he overdoes the nerf)

Yeah, we were also pretty happy with the guys we have coming in. We think they would fit into our system pretty well, of course PBs would fit into any system pretty well right now.

Also we had no idea the PBs would get better this season. We did ok against PBs last season, and this off season we spent most of our boosts into strength and tackling. My SS have 10 more strength than last season and my LB has 10 more tackling than last season, yet this season both of them are missing more tackles than last season, go figure.

So you've adjusted for 1/2 a season with two players while they built their PB that way for 8 seasons. Yeah, you should totally be caught up by now.

And to the OP/topic line... what kind of cement do you mix for a living (on Sundays no less) where you can't check a computer at work.

1) my players were not unbalanced build before, it's not like they were terrible builds that needed to be adjusted. Last season my SS had 3 missed tackles in 45 tries, which I believe is on par with that of MEM's SS. My LB had 4 missed tackles in 43 tries, which is on par with The Legendary Super Saiyan Broly.
2) I'm simply making an observation that sometimes things don't work out as people would have expected.

As far as adapting, we have adapted with all the changes in the GLB since season 2, so I'm not worried. I'm glad we played MEM this early in the season, we'll be fine come playoff time.

Holy shit, they've moved past the crying part!
