I have had horrible luck on my level 42 CB .... now have a choice between

+3 Tackling +5% intercept chance

+3 Catching +2% pass deflect chance

+1 Speed +1 SA Swat Ball

thoughts / advice ?

ig guess i'd go with the first... intercept chance > catching (catching is useless imo) and tackling is always good! the 3rd is obviously the worst.. attributes > SA's! i never trust SA's

I'd go with either the 2nd or third...catching is supposedly pretty good, but that's after speed, agility, and vision. (http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2217275 ). I think the int% and pass deflect% are useless, so I'd probably go with the third.

although none of em is probably the best advice, Im going with one of em ... just cant face going back to that bloody shop again for a while !

Ive always figured that Swat Ball SA is basically a "pass deflect chance" in sexier clothes ....

I think it definitely is. I'm having a rough time with my CB too.

Just a few seasons ago he lead Africa Pro in INT's I then rolled a +3 agility, +3% INT chance. I've intercepted less passes in 2-3 seasons since I got it than I did before.

I'm searching for something different now but can't find anything I really like. I did roll a +1 Speed with +1 First Step, but I'm not sure how useful first step is for a CB.

I'd like to find something with Change Direction I think.

Might as well buy one, you can always re-sell it. I would say go with intercept %, it has helped my CB out a lot, of course his is up to 15% now though.
