The lower the confidence the better, to extract more training value. By the time you get punting to level 68 (level 8 if you use my guide, but you didn't like it.. so you'll probably get there at level 10 
), you'll have 30 confidence. Training in the middle of a 20-30 range is pretty crummy value when that's all a punter really has to hinge on - good training choices.
I'd take a 15 confidence, 25 punting roll with a 10 or 2 9's over a mixed all 8 build. I'm positive the long-term SP value of the added training time on confidence and the ability to cap punting a level sooner makes up for the points lost in the useless stuff.

Not really, around 11th roll and was getting frustrated then ding. I was going to follow your advice of getting mid 20s for punting but I dont want to roll for like an hour.
