I have a question though - why on earth would anybody want this guy on their team? TSE, that you would pay max cash for this player (or any amount of cash for that matter) surprises and shocks me, tbh.

Not really, because I had other options and outs. I found a CPU team that had a level 50 WR and signed him for free with no trade compensation, and that was an easy fix, so my alternative choice is just as good as if I traded, or actually cheaper for me than trading.
So now, let's see his backup option, does he get in return a better deal than I was offering? I highly doubt it, but we can wait until that time comes and then compare. I lost nothing by going to plan B and ended up getting an even better price, but I don't believe he has that option, so it's a net loss on his end, and it's not the same from my perspective.

My lowest level WR was only 47, and this guy had a higher level with more SPs on his build, and a better build than the 47.

Somehow I don't think with this agents overinflated ego he would have handled being at the bottom of DDLs depth chart very well, and in the end would have created as many issues for you as he has with 12thknight. Very average build for such a phenomenal asshat, I wouldn't have thought him worth your trouble.

This all took place long before this thread was created. I never talked to the agent prior, nor did I know anything about him, I was just going off the numbers at the time.
