Well, there's a host of original A teams in both conferences that'll beg to differ.
That league was knock-down, drag out tough, then it got tougher when it went to AA#1. The teams that made it out of there were so nasty, they often blew right through AAA#1 in one season to make it up here.
Don't take my word for it - ask around...
