AEQ with shockblock up to 4.
Shock block working?
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=377423&pbp_id=4404984

Maybe not the best example, but I think it got another yard out of the play maybe.
I have only had the AEQ for a couple of games, if I get any more shots of it working I may post them.
Just posting this to show that I am pretty sure it does work on FBs, and it can be useful.

How is that a shock block? The LE quickly reverse pancakes you and gets the tackle.
He shrunk before you hit him, so he probably was headfaked, recovered, knocked you over, stopped the play. A shock block wouldn't let him make the play, since it "stuns" the defender. Also, you don't fall down after doing it.

Finally, bort's said that it only works in pass blocking.

I wasn't aware that Bort said it only works for pass blocking. I dont have any "fake" moves, I assumed that he shrunk for a millisecond because I shock blocked him (this fits with the description of the SA, stun for a short time) then he recovered and did something that took me out and then made the tackle.
I was shrunk at the end of the play, I wasnt saying "Hey look at how good I am", I was just showing what I thought was an example of shock block "working".

If you are looking for Shock Block in action then look for a pass rusher that suddenly shakes a little, unless Bort has changed the animation since last season that is. According to the change log entry from Dec 27 (lots of changes on that date, it is one of the last few mentioned):

- I've been trying to improve various animations to show what's going on more, with various things. You might notice players "shimmying" or doing "stutter step" type animations when being shock blocked or when head faking. It can be kinda hard to notice in the midst of a quick replay with guys moving everywhere, but if you slow it down you might see some stuff.

I reread my post...I think I came off like a dick. Sorry about that, wasn't intended. But yeah, that probably was something else. The only passing thing came up in the initial AEQ questions, if you look in the wiki there's a link to a post where he says pass blocking tree only works on passing plays. And the fake was probably done by the HB on that play (he probably has a point in it).

I looked at the wiki. You'd think that since I have been here since season 2 that i would actually understand my abilities. but nooooooooooooooooooooo. Hell until last season I thought my AEQ that gave me +% to fake moves was awesome, until someone pointed out to me that FBs DONT HAVE FAKE MOVES, and that I was increasing my chances of doing nothing...
