Hard to say with all certainty, but from seeing the speed of that defensive end your tackle was facing a guy with speed in the 70's and agility over 90. I would suggest getting agility up to 85-90 and get his speed to at least the 2nd cap. That should help him move his feet fast enough to at least slow down an end of that caliber.

^^ Lol at 70's speed. Not much you can do about that one. As for the second one, all I can say is stop using HB screens. The LG got beat by the blitz while already engaged with a block, when he tried to pick up the blitz, the defender he released made the sack. That's not really a build issue. Shotgun is notorious for having issues with the LG. At least 80% of my DT's sacks come against shotgun.

It has to do with him reading the blitz and not knowing which way to go.

Play 1 was the FBs fault. LT kicked in to pick up other defender and the LT knew he had help even though the FB missed the block. Play 2 was a shed block.

Theres more to that DE's build than speed in the 70's. My DE build is around 72/73 speed/agility and doesn't fly around LOT's like that. He's proably heavily SA'd in tunnel vision/first step also. Since hes so high leveled he could be a 90 speed guy

You're probably very right. My DE is no where near that level or speed so it was just a guessing. I have a RDE on my team that is pretty quick with 70's speed & 90's agility along with high numbers in the First Step and Shed Block SA's and he does very similar things when rushing.
