Another week gone and more lessons learned.

Last Week: 6-2
Overall: 6-2

Things We've Learned:

1. Going 6-2 my first week gives me the latitude to do another weeks worth of predictions.

2. I'm going to get at least 1 game wrong until Minnesota proves me right in winning a game.

3. Frostburg, Might have just turned the Corner from rebuilding to contender........

4. The W's are worth their name, 3-0

5. A cat will have a home playoff game.

6. Maybe I’m to seirus with these predictions!

On with the Picks!

1. Richmond Empire (3-0) vs. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals (2-1)

Richmond is on a roll, not scoring less then 100 in its first 3 games. They're defense is also stingy as they have only given up 6 points the entire year. The Bengal’s received their first loss to the new kids on the block and it seems that they'll make it two in a row. I think its safe to say that the Empire will subdue the Bengal’s and bend them to their will.

Richmond 60 Baton Rouge 21

2. *Game of the week* Frostburg Bobcats (2-1) vs. Texas Presidents (3-0)

I know, I know, having the game of the week in back to back weeks is kind of unfair with it could be seen as biased. (so sue me!) Anyways the Bobcats and the Presidents are fighting for what could be seen as the third seed in the playoffs. These two teams are so closely matched, that last season the bobcats lost in the last seconds 15-10 to the Presidents and look to exact revenge. Whatever the case, look for some awe inspiring offense, some Bone Crushing Defense, and a great game all around.

Frostburg 38 Texas 21

3. Delray Manatees (1-2) vs. British Columbia Beasters (3-0)

So what much is there to say. Delray got their first win against the much maligned Minnesota Paladins. Anyone with any type of knowledge would have seen that coming. (present writer excluded). While the BCB continue to roll in their new found home. What gives first Delray actually getting a winning streak or BCB breaking 100 for the second time in 4 games?

British Columbia 155 Delray 3

4. Torrington WildCats (2-1) vs. Detroit Total Chaos (0-3)

Torrington gets to play another cupcake team (computer as well). This should be a no brainer as Torrington gets to practice for the big boys!

Torrington 150 Detroit 0

5. Killians Irish Red (2-1) vs. Pahoa Wild Boars (0-3)

Another team working on building from the ground, The Wild Snores are at least a defense away from being competitive, that being said, Killians wins this easily as they celebrate St. Patty’s day a week early.

Killians 140 Pahoa 21

6. Deimon Devil bats (1-2) vs. Minnesota Paladins (0-3)

What can I say I bet all my money last week on Minnesota to pull a win, Did they Do it NOOOOOO! Now I have to hide from my bookie. Anyways I will not make the same mistake twice in a row (though I still may bet on the paladins to get a win sometime!). Deimon, well after a tough loss to the Bobcats they will exact their revenge on the Paladins.

Deimon 60 Minnesota 0

7. State College Cyclones (1-2) vs. Texas Tech Big Red Spread (1-2)

One team will be turning their team around and be in the running for the that last playoff spot, while the other will just sit there picking their buts. Texas’ offense is still a year away from being able to hang with the big boys.

State College 45 Texas Tech 28

8. Crooklyn Bombers (0-3) vs. Alabama Anzacs (0-3)

What a snore a thon, though both teams have a while until their competitive, someone has to win and someone has to have a winless season. This one is a tossup, but I think the Crooks will bomb their way out of this one!

Crooklyn 28 Alabama 21

Well guys here they are for the second week. Hopefully we’ll figure out if this business is for me or not!
Oh and Texas Good luck, either way we will probably end up seeing each other in the playoffs again!

Agree on all but the game of the week, where I pick the Dubyas by two touchdowns.
