On a slowbuild team, the kicker gets royally hosed XP wise. There used to be the trick of putting them on the KR team but did that get Bort-nerfed a few seasons back? I dont mind putting the K at the P slot right now if the punter goes on KRS or somewhere else.


Any insight or tips and tricks here are most appreciated.

Just throw the kicker on the WR depth chart. It's not like slow build teams are trying to win out of the gate, anyway.

Right, but I thought Bort instituted some sort of protection against that. I believe kickers and punters only get XP when playing certain positions, and not everywhere. There were punters popping 3 levels in a game at one pt because of that.

Make punter a kick specialist in the middle. you'll get the special teams xp still.

but what can a Kicker do?
My team was blown out and probably will be all season.
kicker was in on only 1 play (opening kickoff)
i got less XP for the game than for a regular training day, on flip side, my punter jumped 2 levels
what can i do?

Then he'll be playing every down with the punter, since he's on the kick team. Likewise the punter will be playing with you when you are kicking off

Sorry busy right now, yes LS or KRS that's not in one of the flanker slots since you'll get burnt.

Put him on the KR team. Did it last year, 546XP's in one game.
