Here are the top 3 games this week that you'll want to be sure to check out! (My opinion of course)

GAME OF THE WEEK

Honolulu Hurricane Warriors vs Northwest Arkansas Naturals

These are two of, if not the, top teams in BBB 8 West. The Hurricane Warriors have no blemishes on their record. They come into this game having only given up 3.25 ppg and averaging 37 points per contest. Do the Naturals have a shot at upsetting the most impressive team, statistically, in all of BBB 8?

KEY MATCHUP: Look to see if the NWA Naturals can stop the league leading rushing attack led by 1,000 yard rusher Clinton Wang.

Game #2

Toronto Turtles vs New York Grizzles

Toronto goes into New York as one of the hottest teams in the East. They're riding a four game winning streak going into today's match up. The Grizzles come off an upset loss to the Predators after not being able to make halftime adjustments. This could be their game to get back on track to dominating the East.... or could it? This is going to be an old fashioned gridiron smashmouth game.

KEY MATCHUP: Keep an eye on Toronto's gunslinger Whipper Downfield. He's the top QB in the East and 2nd in QB rating in the BBB 8. New York's secondary has its own 2nd in the league rating..... in INTs. Can't wait to see how this match up goes down.

Game #3

Portland Persecution vs Omaha Outlaws

Battle in the trenches. The O-Line that wins this battle will, in my opinion, lead their team to victory. Both of these teams can sling the ball and run the ball successfully for a ton of yards. Both QBs are ranked in the top 5 in the BBB 8. There will be a lot of Offense in this game but who's D line can make the TFL, Hurries and Sacks in this game? That's the team that walks away with the W.

KEY MATCHUP: Larry "the Cableguy" Allen and Xavier Francis will be, in my mind, the match up to watch. Will Allen be able to stop Francis' bull rush to the QB?

NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND

Game 1 -honnolulu -the man named wang, every player on the team has a lot of low level guys, however they are built to perfection and he has excellent strategy set up on all of them, this will be a good game, but i think that honolulu, at this time, is the better team

Game 2 -Grizzlies -2 very potent teams, will be a very good match up. expect a high scoring affair out of this one, however in the end the Grizzlies defense will get the stops when they are needed the most, Grizzlies win in a close 1

Game 3 -Portland(biased) -another great match-up, both teams come in 7-1 losing only to honolulu. both teams have high powered offenses and excellent defenses, however the speed of portland will be too much for omaha to handle, this one will come down to the wire and will likely be decided by whoever scores last

Should be some great games today!!! i hope we can keep it interesting, we are pretty overmatched in terms of talent... i would put my money on the naturals but you know i'm rooting for the warriors!!! man our next 3 games are killer...

Northwest Arkansas Naturals (7-0-1)
Tampa Bay Greyhounds (8-0)
Las Vegas Lightning (6-1-1)

i'd be very happy with 2/3...

GM of Bayou Bandit's Picks for todays important matchups

1. Naturals (gotta support any team that has ark in their name!!
IMO the strongest team in the west.. THE team to beat
2. Tough one to pick, but I have to pick the Grizzleys in a close one. I will not be surprised to see the Turtles pull this one off however. '
3. I have to take Omaha in this one.
Those are my picks, good luck to all !

Honolulu wins comfortably but not in a rout.
Grizzlies win by a prayer.
Omaha takes it easily.

Good game Grizzlies....could have gone either way.
Game was decided by a fluky DE pick.

Thanks. The game was much closer than the score indicated. We were fortunate enough to get one big play on offense and made several key 3rd down and 4th down stops. Best of luck rest of the season.

Well, congrats to your team. That really was a close game.

For me this was the play I probably won't forget for a while: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=2958629

Hope to see you soon in the playoffs.

That was the play that set up the fluky DE play basically. 3rd and 16...quite clutch. Looks like the CB even had it in his hands
