Warrior General Games

I know I have been on the bottem for far to long. I have been on some teams that just wasn't in the top 9 that much. The team I GM now manage to finish in 9th for only one season then it was back to the bottom. Since owning my own team it took at least three seasons before my team was able to make the playoffs. It was great for me and my players, which some of them played with me on the other team and we just lost game after game. Now we are winning and having some success. I guess if you never been at the bottom you will never understand. The Black Knight may not be the best in the east, but it feels real good to be winning and teams respect our team. I know we may not be where we want to be, but it has been a long and frustrating road to get where we are now.

You've got to understand frustration. There are 5 or 6 teams in BBB#3 who probably could compete in leagues a level or 2 higher than we are in. There have been so many good teams in this league we haven't been able to bust out and it sucks. Wish there would be an overall re-alignment to even things out. It's really not that much fun being in a league where you win three fourths for your games by outrageous scores.

I like the fact that this league is so damn tough. It gives me a sense of pride to know that in order to win, you need to have your shit together -and winning those games is like winning in the playoffs. I can't tell you how good it felt to beat the Sharpshooters in the playoffs last season after they had beaten me in the regular season, because it means we managed to beat a very good team. This season once again, there is tough competition both from teams who have been good, and teams that have been growing, and with the exception of a few teams there aren't many easy games -sure there's a few blowouts but it won't be long before those guys are competitive too. The teams that are really good will move up and the teams that are too small right now will get better every season -gotta earn your stripes in BBB3. I guess what I mean is here, there are very few empty victories.

I respect what the Black knights have done the last few season. There having fun and are doing their best to become a great team.

It's very hard on this game to field a competetive team when you are losing a lot. Between trying to keep your current players on your team and recruiting for a rebuild or non winning team and doing it all while trying stay with in your teams budget to build your stadium is a bear. I don't think players understand how crazy it is to try an joggle all this, while a owner trys to build a competitive team. Most FA's wants a crazy amount of money or for your team to be in the top 3 in your league before they will sign with you. Some want you to promise them a starting position and everything under the sun.

All I can tell the struggle teams and rebuilding teams is to stick with it. Don't be afaird to sign players who are two or 5 lvl's below who are willing to stick it out with you. Be honest and upfront with FA's of your plans for them and the team. If they sign with you great and if not that is fine too. More importantly do not but your team in financal problem to sign a high lvl player for a crazy amount of money. Team and the building of your stadium should come first before any one player. That's my advise and what I did. I would like to believe that many of my players stuck around with the team is because I did BS them about their role and my plans for the team. That I didn't just tell them what they wanted to hear to get them to sign and I try to kept my word if told them something. I'm not about winning at any cost, its a game and only a game. It feels good knowing the Black Knight are now winning and doing it the right way.

all I can say is, I wish we had a rematch with the Black Knights, we are much better now :-P

sure, that sounds like fun!

we have better players but much worse chemistry now....lol....would be interesting to see the difference
