Agility at the 3 cap
Speed at 56
Strength at 56

I was thinking +2 to First Step, +2 to Shed Block, +2 to Speed, then either save the remaining point or put it in Vision.

I was thinking I'd put more into speed with the next level up. I also have 2 sets of equipment.

1 all speed
1 all agility

Others

+6 agility in the custom
%10 Break Block Chance AEQ

if I could do it all over again with my DT I'd have waited until I reached level 40 until I started into the SA portion of my build

I think you should leave the SAs alone for now

you can never get enough speed and agility
also
your stamina, vision and confidence all need to go up

I think the higher your confidence is the better likelihood your SAs will trigger when needed

i suggest you to intense train on "distance run" and put SPs into vision and cap it and work on 2nd capping speed

I disagree considering how important SAs are to get a DE to do anything

I'd work on speed to the 3rd cap and one SA instead of spreading them all out

I think SAs make a big difference in a players performance. I added shed blcok and strong base to my DT, and I think its working well.

my build (with VA bonuses)
Strength: 90.88
Blocking: 24.49
Speed: 60.71
Tackling: 54.21
Agility: 94.95
Throwing: 7
Jumping: 23.06
Catching: 9
Stamina: 47.8
Carrying: 10
Vision: 49.74
Kicking: 10
Confidence: 29.62

7 in shed block, 5 in strong base.

No offense, but I am curious if your success has more to do with a level 44 DT playing in an A league?

I'd 3rd cap speed now.

I wasn't posting my build as a great build or anything, I was just saying that I saw an improvement in performance when I added SAs to the build.

First thing you should do is not ask anyone on the forums, and build a player the way you think will be successful. If I listened to the idiots on the forums all my players would suck.

Well, it takes someone with a brain to filter out the good advices from the bad.
