GLB World Cup is for real money, an actual trophy, and the chance to compete with the best teams out there. Call it a useless tourney all you want. But in the end, its more worthy than an SEA Pro title...

That's a matter of opinion.

If you'd rather spend time game planning on extra scrimmages with a CHANCE of winning it and some cash, go ahead.
I don't have the time to take both those and SEA Pro games seriously. It would make GLB more like a job than a game for me. A cash prize is great, but it would only get each player on your team 200 or so (depending on how many players are on your team) flex points, once spread out.

IMO, winning League Championships is more important than scrimmages, and it's not even close. By the time season 11 comes around, what will you have to show for scrimmages? Nothing.

the tournaments are going to hold the same kind of titles you gain from winning this league...at least im pretty sure we have lined that up from Drk...the only difference is that you would be facing the best talent from all around...rather than SEA Pro alone...

if you liked halifax's dick so much, whyd you stop suckin it?

and to bhall, not everyone on ESL supports them joining tourneys and wasting time with them. Don't be bitter because you have NEVER won a SE Asia title, and never will.

ESL obviously doesnt support winning an SEA Pro title anymore to be honest...

in SEA PRO, the count of ESL vs. bhalldouchebaggery is 2-0 ESL. i really don't think you should keep talking buddy.

Part of one of this seasons gut jobs speaks his mind. Thanks.

Just sayin, you better be able to beat ESL before you start springing all this noise on their doorstep. I've been in this league a long time and ESL has been a perrenial contender from the first season they were here. What has Duluth done? kthxbai

pretty sure ESL escaped Duluth last season...thats right...escaped...its not like ESL is a Santiago or WSI or something.

surprised there are any bodies left after how many he lit up last season....Beav Nizzle is probably the only one left standing to be honest.

i guess ill have to wait and see what steelers has for the defense before i make that prediction...

So then let me ask you this. Does Halifax become that successful without Barron Marsh?

Yes, and prob even better then with Marsh now that they can spread the ball around. Deathblade is a great DC, and Gart is a smart offensive mind. Not to mention Washington + Paul Pongo(whatever is name is) could both better then Marsh.

I'm talking about last season. No doubt they will probably repeat this season unless Windsor or ALB has added quite a few more players. And I've seen both Pogo and Washington's build and they are the same as mine.

I don't think they had another speed WR coming in then. A lot of people stay away from the CPL off of the forum's reputation alone and then paired with the fact that the Yetis won the Ship 3 straight times made it difficult for the other teams to recruit cuz no one wants to not win a championship.

sad to see that franchise gut so quickly...all good things come to an end i guess...wouldnt be surprised to see that happen to ESL next season to be honest...

Meh I knew it would happen as soon as Mike Rogers quit. He did everything for that team and the team just reaped the benefits.

As a pats fan i will say this. Cutler will be a pro bowl qb for the rest of his career if he stays healthy. 5 starters on D cut already is a good thing. He will do well and he could be around for awhile. No need to thank New England though.

I believe this was supposed to be in the team forum?
