Are there any VA for an elusive back that's actually worth getting other than the attribute bonus VAs? Before the reset I had quick feet but I heard it head fake and jukes rarely do anything to same or higher level competition is this true?

No it isn't. People just have low head fake, juke, and or agility and they think that the "quick feet" VA makes up for that.
I love the quick feet VA and I have seen a difference in the success rate of my head fakes and jukes.

Clever Instinct: This player has good instincts for his age. Each Level of Clever Instinct gives a +2% bonus to the sucess rate of Head Fake, Pump Fake and Juke special abilities, when used against players of higher level.

For HBs... Clevere Instinct is just Quick feet with more rules for activation.

Maybe, but it says it helps when used against higher leveled players, and people always say they only see fakes working against lower/same level players, so I guess it should be helpful.

Quick Feet will always activate against any player.
Clever Instincts will only activate against a higher level player.
They give the same percentages to the same things (unless you have a HB in the QB spot for wild cat and he wants to pump fake, not sure how he'd do that...).
Thus Quick Feet > Clever Instincts for Elusive HBs.
If Quick Feet isn't helping you fake out higher level players, then Clever Instincts isn't going to help you fake out higher level players, because the bonus to success rate is the same.
Alot of the situational VA's need to be improved/edited.

Last season, a HB on my team had 8 points in Quick Feet, 5 in Head Fake, 7 in Juke, and between 80 and 90 agility (moved equipment around for a few games). He RARELY juked or head faked anyone. I'd say around 5 jukes or head fakes in over 200 carries against similarly leveled opponents. Seemed like a waste to me.

I'm in no way saying you SHOULD use quick feet. Just saying that trying to use Clever Instinct in the place of Quick Feet is stupid. At least until clever instinct is improved.

I think slippery will be good once the game improves. And for clever instinct...I am guessing you need HIGH vision.
My back has almost second capped vision at level 29, so he might benefit from it, but I want to get my track star and quick to 10 each before I start on those types of VAs. By that time my SAs will be stacked (mid 40s) and the VAs like quick feet, slippery and clever instinct will just multiply the effects of the SAs like HF/juke/spin

As the wording currently is, I would still use Quickfeet to max before I touched Clever Instict. Doesn't mean I wouldn't use both, because frankly, that would mean they stacked on higher level players, It just takes longer to get there.

I put 15 VA's in Quick immediately, and now have 14 in Quick Cut. So, I have 9.42 points added to my agility and a 28% bonus to my Juke working. Add to that the fact that I currently get an additional 11% added to my fake chance by a piece of custom equipment, and I'm looking at a 39% boost to fakes.
