Just wondering what each shell is for. I know that Cover 0 is man to man, and stuff like that, but where do the defenders line up on the different coverages?

Cover 0 = None
Cover 1 = FS in deep coverage
Cover 2 = FS and SS
Cover 3 = FS and 2 CB's
Cover 4 = FS, SS, and 2 CB's
They split the field evenly.
So...
Cover 1 is the FS covering the entire field.
Cover 2 is the SS taking the strong side, and FS taking the weak side.
Cover 3 is the FS taking the middle third, CB1 taking the weak strong third, CB2 taking the strong third.
Cover 4 is the FS taking the middle weak fourth, SS taking the middle strong fourth, CB1 taking the weak fourth, CB2 taking the strong fourth
Apparently, sometimes the SS takes the middle in a Cover 1 and Cover 3 instead of the FS. I'm thinking it only happens with a 3 front, or with pre-made plays. Not entirely sure about the 3front thing though, I don't use it much.
