(base) +2 jumping, intercept chance +5%

yeah or nay?

And should I sell a +SA Closing Speed piece and put its bonus tokens into this piece?

I also have a
(base) +2 speed, +5% make tackle

So, how would you rank these 3 pieces in importance for a CB

A - (base) +2 speed, +5% make tackle
B - (base) +2 jumping, intercept chance +5%
C - (base) +SA Closing Speed

Or should I keep rolling until I get +first step, + change direction with speed, agility or jump?

The CB in question:

I would sell the Closing Speed one (is that all it has?) and use the Speed/Tackle AE, and keep rolling until you get Super Vision preferably.

The +2 speed piece is better than the +2 jump, because speed is one of your primary stats as a CB, while jumping is more of a secondary stat. Also, if your Cb is like most, your speed is much higher than your Jumping, so in terms of "SP" depending on cap caps you are at, that +2 Speed might be worth 6 or even 8 SP, whereas that +2 Jumping is only equal to 2 SP probably.

Even the tackle % is worth more in one sense, because the % bonus is multiplicative, not additive. So let's say on any given pass your % chance for an INT is 4%. The 5 percent bonus is multiplied, not added to the 4%, so your INT chance becomes 4.2%, not 9%. No, on any given roll to see if you make a tackle, they base percentage is probably gonna be much higher than for INTs. Let's call it 50% for grins. That 5% boost brings your tackle chance to 52.5%. It's still not much to write home about, but at least a 2.5% increase is better than a .2% increase.

I believe the ideal combo is a +ability (speed or agility) and either Super Vision SA, or maybe something like Monster HIt SA (assuming you can pump up the new SA with SP when you level, but I doubt it).

It depends how your player is built, how you will continue to build, how you are used in games. If you are going to raise jumping and catching up to 60 or more, then the jumping/intercept chance equipment will highlight that. Closing speed will be helpful if you already have or will have high speed and agility and hope to maximize that.

Each of these people has their own ideas. I'm not saying they are good or bad ideas, but unless you build your player just like their's and play in the same system against the same competition as them then you won't meet the same results. Thier advice is fine, but please make up your own mind.
