Physical Attributes Football Skills

Strength:27.48 Blocking:10
Speed:70.94 Tackling:9
Agility:49.14 Throwing:8
Jumping:48.36 Catching:48.94
Stamina:30.39 Carrying:44.02
Vision:49.94 Kicking:9
Confidence:23.02

I know my players Stamina is an issue, but he's always been a 4th WR. Definatley, my next 5SPs are going to go into Stamina. My issue is whether or not to train confidence and put SPs as I level up into strength or train strength and put SPs into confidence. Also, should I even be worrying about softcapping strength or confidence and just pump SPs into speed and agility

You shouldn't be worried about Stamina right now, 30 is fine for your level, especially as a backup.

You also shouldn't be worried about adding SPs into Confidence or Strength right now, in fact, you shouldn't even be training Strength right now, as there are more important things to focus on.

You also should NOT put any more points into Carrying, that means training or SPs - you have plenty, in fact, you probably have too much, as you should have been putting points somewhere else.

Primarily, you need to get Speed/Agility/Catching all to a natural 60. After they are at natural 60, I would then focus on getting Speed to a natural 68, then Agility to a natural 68.

Honestly, the ONLY things you should be putting SPs into, for a long time, is Speed, Catching and Agility. Jumping and Vision are good where they are at,

I think you'll see the most immediate returns in getting catching to 60 first. With that high of carrying, I can't imagine that you'll bobble anything, and you should see a lot of catch and run opportunities.

Thanks for the advice, I agree with you, I should bring up speed, agility, and catching.

In regards to carrying, I thought that carrying was pretty important? There was a post in one of my team forums with a post from Bort confirming that carrying will help receivers drop less passes.

Yeah, it helps - but it's not nearly as important as Jumping, Catching, Vision, Sticky Hands and even Confidence/Stamina.

Carrying is something that you worry about a lot later in your career, after you don't have anything to train anymore. It's also something that you should never put any SPs into, as there is always something more important to put your SPs into.

I kind of disagree with this... Carrying helps you when you're "bobbling" catches... So raising carrying would probably be the second most important thing if you feel like you're having too many passes deflected, and would also probably play a factor in your ability to catch balls in stride. I do agree that it's one of the less important skills overall, though.

personally I think you have a decent WR to think about going the strength/carrying power receiver route...try to break some tackles and go for long runs.

Catching is good for now. Intense train confidence+stamina and use your SPs for speed and agility.

Sticky One Hand Catch? Increase to catch interceptions with 1 hand?
