Which SS Skill Tree should I get for my custom equipment?
I’m leaning toward Coverage Abilities. Here’s my logic behind this.

Each of these SA’s are enhancements of various attributes.

Change Direction = Agility
Super Vision = Vision
Swat Ball = Jumping?
Sticky Hands = Catching
Closing Speed = Speed

Whereas the Hard Hitter Abilities are basically enhancements of the tackle attribute, and a little bit of the strength attribute with Big/Monster Hit.

So instead of using the CE to add to the Hard Hitter Tree, wouldn’t it be more cost effective to just put SP’s into tackle and get similar results as the SA’s of this tree?

And I’m presuming that a solidly built SS has Agility, Speed and Vision at least soft capped if not 2nd/3rd capped. While, catching & jumping are generally an afterthought and we wouldn’t want to spend our training or SP’s slowly leveling those attributes anyway. So we’d get more value out of putting points in the Coverage tree.

Thoughts?

Wait until your player is built up more. You can decide and upgrade your equipment later. Those points in the the tree don't really do much when an SA is only 1. For the most part SAs enhance the main attributes. If the main attributes are not very high then there isn't much to enhance. And you will learn how your team uses your player and how you want your player to develop. Different play styles, competition, and builds could all affect your decision. Wait until you have some experience with this player to determine where to put the equipment. You might make the wrong choice if you make it now.
