thats hypothetically speaking tho

It's all hypothetical.

the difference is that in your example u ASSUME the cb is faster, more agile than the wr to begin with

in mine i start both players at the SAME level and show how easily it can change with vxp

Dude, if the WR and CB have the SAME speed and agility, then why add any more speed or agility? If my CB can already keep up with a WR then adding more speed or agility won't do much... That's why Long Reach = sexy.

1. because you can NEVER kno if ur cb is as fast as a wr or not
2 . wat makes a cb GREAT is them being able to react to the ball just as, if not faster than the wr therefore adding more attributes does ALOT
3. you may have the same attributes as a wr your same level but what happenes when u move up AAA or pro and play against players better than you? who have much more vxp?
4. it can save u sp if you use it right
5. the full potential of long reach can only be maximized if u are ALWAYS around the ball
6. attribute boosts can make u more effective in the RUNNING and PASSING game, long reach is ONLY helps in passsing situation
7. longreach doesnt help u get in position to get the pd

Granted,

realistically, a CB will never have more SPD than a WR built that way. thing is, a CB doesnt need to have the same SPD as a WR to be able to cover him. the time it takes for that 10-15 points of extra SPD to be useful it usually ore than to QB has to sit in the pocket.

also, shutdown coverage is how any good CB should stick with a WR. no reason to take spd/agi past 68 natural, or invest VA's in them when u can get SC to 7 for much better returns, and then get long reach which will help u make the play.

edit: for spelling

im using speed and agility as an example as most ppl agree on them as the #1 and 2 most imp att.
also i think u understand or atleast sumwhat understand what i mean about using vxp it to save sp ...

by all means use long reach but as i said before its not a great va ... ive gotten alot of info from cb's lvl 45+ that play in the pro leagues every position has certain "key attributes/sa's" in glb and while i wont give out certain info , i will let u kno long reach is not something that the best cb's at that level have invested in, yet still are the most productive

sc is great but there are ways to get around having to dump points into so to get to it by working on other certain key attributes(not speed or agility)

remember pd's happened before lr ...

well, my guy was lucky in that i got a piece of AE, so it hasnt cost me an obscene amount of sp's.

im gonna go out on a limb and say that the 'secret attribute' is jumping. u didnt mention vision, but thats a given for me. i just think that if u can keep up with WR's theres no reason to invest further. id rather adjust my ability to make the play(since im already in position) than have a ton of SPD just because.
