What does everyone think CB's will need this coming season? After seeing how powerbacks are running over everybody I am beginning to think 2nd capped strength/tackling might be in order.... but then I remember the changelog, and how Vision is going to play more of a part for CB's and WR's next season, I start thinking maybe 2nd capped Vision might be in order. So which is it? Agi/Vis ? or Str/Tackling ? lol
Do CB's suddenly need to be jack-of-all-trades / master-of-none ? (kinda like LB's now)

Second cap Tackling/Strength? I can't imagine what you'd sacrifice to go that route. Speed, Agility, Vision should remain the Top 3 for most defenses' CBs. After those, I'd even rank Jumping and Confidence above Strength and Tackling.

one thing everyone has been on board with for a while, is linebackers being built without much str or tackling.
Also the linemen are building for sacks, which also takes away from str and tackling to a certain extent. There is nothing a corner should do, or needs to do to counter act power backs. That's the linemen and linebackers jobs. Even F.S's and S.S.'s want to build with no str and tackling.

A corners sole job is pass defense. Build accordingly and don't stop. Let the linemen linebackers and safeties fix their approach to building. NOT corners. So I say keep going with vision.

How do you have 12 players and GM one team and think that next season CBs will have to second cap tackling and strength?

not sure who you were talking to but that is exactly opposite what we are saying, the cb's job is to cover the wr, its the front 7 job to stop the run

ST and Tackling improve pass defense. I love my strong CBs.

I'd say 35 in both would suffice

Tackling does not in no way, shape or form improve pass defense. Strength does not either it just changes your Scout bar which is all you care about

to answer the question the only skills a CB needs beyond 50 are Speed Agility Vision and Jumping. These are CBs main attributes and will always remain that way. There is no CB in the NFL or any football league anywhere that Sacrifices his speed to be as strong as a linemen. That is a Safety or a Linebacker and if bort makes it so that Corners can sacrifice agility for tackling that would ruin the game
