" The Reno Knight"

The Knights of Reno may be named after guardians, but they themselves have a guardian looking over them. The fans in football are often thought as the 12th man. The Knights however have a 13th or as they like to say "1st man" inspiring the team. On December 23rd, 2006, tragedy struck the Knight family and took beloved member Scott Dubnoff from them. The news was devastating, simply put. From then on, the team and their fans have done what they can to keep the memory of Scott Dubnoff alive. Each player on the Knights have a "BB" on their helmets in honor of his nickname "Baseballar". Now, the team is taking another step into the remembrance of Scott. Today, May 9th, 2008 The Reno Knights are going to honor the name of Scott Dubnoff by naming their stadium after their fallen friend and teammate. Team owner Sin City, today will announce the official name change to "Scott Dubnoff Memorial Coliseum". The name change was a unanimous decision going from team management, to team players, to the fans. When the Knights take the field for their next game, you can be sure they are going to play the most inspired football of the young season. The Knights will have their own guardian on May 11th and for the rest of their games, The Reno Knight.
