Shed Blocks SA description: Allows the DT to get around blockers more easily, using a variety of swim, spin and rip moves. This skill is effective against all blockers, but it is most effective against pass blocking.

The Wiki says "player" rather than "DT". Is this just for DT? I got one agent's advice that it's not DT position specific but I'd like a second opinion.

I can see it could be useful for SS on blitzes and shedding blocks in the backfield. Kind of novel I'd think. BTW, it's not very high, only +1. Not cheap. $10000. Worth it?

Did you not get your answer in the safety forum IT WORKS. it's not real novel people have tried it, and 10,000 is extremely cheap for advanced equipment.

You didn't go into how effective it would be, nor did I assume you necessarily even know. The opinions of those the SA was designed for I thought would be valuable as well. If I knew people have tried it I wouldn't be asking. I know zero about this SA. That's the whole point. You've actually made me feel a whole lot better about it! Thanks! I would still like other opinions.

if you have a S.S. that plays in a lot of run support and you can get shed blocks up to 4 it would help. but would it help enough to counter act the time and effort put forth to upgrade it? yeah you would have to get a second opinion on it, cause I have none. My vote is, it would help but I haven't tried it.

I would definitely look for something better. Shed Block with a +2 or +3 for speed, agility or vision would be solid, but just Shed Block for a SS? Meh.

The Shed Block SA would work, however...if that's your question. It is not position specific.

"most effective against pass blocking" dont get it, you wont use it enough.
