No doubt. D.E's might as well be walking to the quarterback.

and yet QBs, RBs,WRs,KRs,PRs and CBs still rack up ungodly stats... just the DEs get turned down to the point of looking like they're swimming in molasses...

...but maybe this isn't a legit complaint...where's BiggerBlue to call us whiners?

Add one meaningful sack to both. MY D.E. and D.T. beat some good linemen today for sacks.

Can't wait to see what happens next season. Something a buddy pointed out today that caught me off guard since I never thought of it this way. Bort has to keep the Offense happy because they are paying more to boost and create Glamor players. Who is going to boost a QB/HB/WR every season without seeing great stats.

I honestly never paid attention to the flex points, they come out of my slush fund when its time to boost. Could it just boil down to simple economics? It wouldn't surprise me.

Agreed, and I think it should stay this way. Quarterbacks receivers and running backs should naturally be the stat go getters.
I take pride in shutting them down. makes it that much more sweet.

Your total actually went up...any insights into why that may be?

Gutted team, 23 sack performance (amazing that cruise control didn't rob him...it always seemed to zap my DE pretty good...)

Yes, this. I have very high first step and speed, which is apparently great against gutted teams and mediocre against real teams.

I have two DEs who both broke the 25 barrier in sacks and are both below the average level for the league.

Tarmo Mitt - Level 27, 3rd most sacks in league

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=864678

Francois Le saque - Level 35, FA next year

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=653640 , Had alot more multiple sack games and was not as consistent.....
