Game of the Week:
Las Vegas Villains @ Washington Blitz
This is fitting being that today is Super Bowl Sunday. These two teams are obviously the class of our conference and probably all of USA BBB. Like the Super Bowl, it appears that there is a common favorite (Villains & Steelers). What's different than the Super Bowl is that while the Cardinals are being overlooked, no one is overlooking the Blitz in this game. I believe the Blitz can win this game if they can contain the Villains potent passing attack. Alas, I bow down with 14 other Western conference teams who have lost to each of these teams. I predict a Villain victory.
A-TOWN Dirty Birds @ Lone Star Leopards
After an soaring in the first half of the season, the Dirty Birds were grounded in the second half. The Leopards will give them a good cleaning and tell them better luck next season.
Sioux City North Stars @ Fort Myers Jesters
The Jesters have clearly established themselves as the 4th best team while the North Stars are looking at a season of what might have been. The North Stars are looking at a loss here, a first round playoff loss and then new ownership in the offseason. This is their last stand. Jesters win.
West Yellowstone Bisons @ Chicago Shockers
The Shockers are looking toward their first round game for another shot at the Jesters. If they're not careful....forget about it! Blitz big
Sandpoint nerfherders @ Port City Mosquito's
Game matches two good newcomers to our fine division. 'Quito's are a playoff team who should send the nerfherders off to scrimmage land. But what the hell, I gotta pick an upset each week so, here's to the nerfherders!
Pennsylvania Silver Knights @ Fayetteville Fighting Tigers
Tigers beat the Dirty Birds last week to claim the 8th playoff spot. Big win here locks that playoff spot up.
Rhode Island Revolutionaries @ French Lick Goats
Easy pick here, sorry Goats, I can't be counted on to reliably pick y'all for an upset. Goats let me down big time last week. Revolutionaries have a nice offense that'll tear the Goats a new one.
Untamed Beasts @ Walcott Steelers
Steelers get their opportunity to match up with the higher level CPU team. I'm going to go with the Steelers here.
