How good is this?

Not that great for an HB. By the time your HB gets the ball he'll be moving too fast for it to activate.

it was good last season..

Q.C. is better and easier to reach.

I like it. Helps with route running, and breaking away from defenders after a juke.

Yes it is.

Especially if you're an Elusive/Speed RB.

it will help before when you are starting from a dead stop but by the time you get the handoff you will be moving to fast

what does dead stop mean? i rolled it for my receiver... will it only activate at the snap or does it also work when doing cuts or when landing after a jumpcatch?

It helps also when you catch a pass... I notice a lot of times my guy stops to catch a pass or change direction

Bort has said it doesn't just help from a dead stop, but when your player has slowed down to a crawl for any reason (i.e. when elusive backs hit the line).
