I've seen this before, where CB5 lines up over where the tight end would be, if the tight end was in there and was set to "pass block left."
And I notice, in this play, WR5 is actually a tight end. Hmmm... it is possible there's a bug here, if the offense AI called this play, set the formation for Shotgun 5 WR, and set the TE to "pass block left" (even though in reality, there is no tight end). CB5 may be reacting to where the ghost TE is supposed to be.
In any event, this defense failed more because of where the SS was, rather than CB5. You never, ever blitz the SS from Cover 2 zone under. This game is hard enough without playing a man short.
