Bad QB strength is more of a factor.

What is the PRIMARY job of a WR. It just makes sense. I'm considering taking my catching up to 68., though I'm having to hump it on vision to be ready for next seasons changes.

You keep acting like you know more about my WR than I do. 51 catching has resulted the stats I have provided and I can assure you he is above 80% completion per target with 2 drops this year. (My drops were quite a bit higher last 2 seasons, but don't know why they've fallen so much this season.) I'm not saying whether or not any number of catching is enough or not, I'm just giving one small data sample.

Wow, 100% or bust! Doesn't matter I guess if it cost 100 SP to get there, you better get there. Ever hear of something called diminishing returns?

mob6pwned...and that's in a relatively weak USA A conference.

Look into exaggeration. While I'd say 100% isn't needed and catching isn't the cure all....I would say that under 75% you definitely need to work on being able to catch the ball...

CDAT, you're level 46, how many games a season do you face a CB who is a higher level than you in A league? Since can't pin the 54% completion rate on facing high level defenders, we'd have to point the reason towards low catching.

I don't really think 68 catching is worth it now. After an almost perfect start to the season, my Possession WR with 68 catching has only been targeted 33 times and caught just 67% of those passes.
It might be better to go with vision.

LOL! I can tell you the catching bar has nothing to do with catching. My WR has a 60 receiving bar and has been struggling all season long. 57 carrying FWIW.

You're right on the numbers and I'm wrong. Will just note that I dropped PDs from my quick calculations since I saw (and still see) those as reflective of the defender and not the WR. Either way, you are correct that they should still count as targets.

Actually, only a lvl 45 if my screen is right. (I'd like to be correct on at least one part of this.) Not many defenders above my level but several at it.
And maybe the other half of the equation (i.e., the passer) could have something to do with my catch percentage. Just saying.

I'm not saying the catching bar is indicative of performance, I would just be interested in seeing a large sampling of data to see if there are any patterns or correlations that can be established. If you chart the data, I'll look for any significance in it.
