I know I don't get that many carries off of handoffs (the OC likes to use me in wildcat...) but when I do get carries I usually just take 2 steps and get tackled.... Should I just retire?? Elusive backs are so broken imo.

You actually have to be "elusive" to be good. Not just fast. I bet if you had 80 speed, 72 agility with the same SA's, you'd see a lot different results.

I was planning on doing that but the team he's on doesn't have enough cash and can't even pay for his upgrades, let a lone an EQ revamp.

Yeah i understand how that goes sometimes. It took my kicker 14 days to get 12,500 in his equipment fund, lol.

But yeah, i wouldn't retire him. You can move him to another team next season...advertise him as an elusive back and tell teams you plan on moving equipment around to make him more agile (and thus, elusive). He's not far from being a pretty good back.

...and you never know when Bort will change the sim again, haha.
