Our next game is against a team who runs to the right and the middle and throws to their #2 WR (the one on the right side of the field). They only run 10 different plays over and over and over. I am trying to get my best tackling CB on that side to defend the pitch and sweep plays to the right. He isn't great at covering so that WR would be open a lot on passing plays.

I was wondering, how do I double team him to put two guys on the line in front of him so I can stop the run and have help covering their only good WR.

He lines up in that position every time (as listed in their depth chart). I run a 4-3 defense man to man coverage. Is it possible to double team him with that setup or do I need to do something different?

Cover 0 will put the FS & #2 CB next to the #2 WR. You could also shift the linebackers to the strong side to give the LOLB the edge if the rush is to the outside.

The play looks like this: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=293377&pbp_id=8635123

Is there any way to have the SS being the one on double team duty?

I can't wait until we can use our own custom D plays. We won the game though so I am fine for now.
