It looks like your in got a 3-4, no shift, cover 1 Man, SS blitz, scheme - coverage balanced, focus either pass or balanced.

If this is the case I would scout to see what other runs they do out of this formation with similar down and distance and area of the field. if he runs weak side at all this won't work but if this is his bread and butter then I would shift strong, switch coverage to short, to move LB's and DB's closer. Switch focus to Run to move the SS into the box. blitz ROLB and RILB to cut off the cut back both the Left and LB should be playing man so they should be following the TE and HB out to the flat. the SS should be trying to cover the TE as well so which moves 3 defenders into an area with only 1 blocker and the HB. Lastly your CB's focus should be set to no focus an move your CB with the highest vision to CB2. He'll read the play and break to contain the outside and force him back in to where the pursuit should be coming from.

My LB's are levels 25-31 with speeds from 65-78..... I have a level 37 CB with 92 speed and a level 32 DE with 97 speed. How do you stop a running back THAT fast. There is no chance to actually react to where he's going. I'll post a play here in a second to show what I mean. What can be done to stop someone THAT fast that is just eating up the league?

A 4-3 strong shift cover 1 with run focus and SS blitz may help for that play in particular.. I think you had a shot at stopping him, but your SS wasn't moving towards the line.. I would say blitz the LOLB as well, but that leaves the TE uncovered.. If you have a fast ROLB, you can blitz him (and the SS) on the Pro Set sweeps b/c of the gap between the LG and LT that usually opens up..

I overload the outside, and blitz CB's a lot against the Pro Set.

Most runs are outside runs anyway.

proset has one of the best passes from a 2wr set though.. gotta be careful

and you can run hb dive from proset if people overload and blitz right... that could be a huge gain
