Does it help break tackles?

Yes, and help you hold onto passes.

ehh... supposedly. It doesn't help you hold onto passes really. Bort said it keeps you from dropping them (fumbling) when getting hit while making a catch.

Is carrying tied to power through firing?

Carrying is basically football holding. The main skill of a HB because there job is to consistantly run through the holes and get hit, Anyone else would fumble all the time because they cant carry the Football. Fullbacks dont run more then hbs so they might fumble more.

I might've misinterpreted it when he said "keeps you from dropping them...while making a catch".

Carrying imo should help with anything that has to do with you being able to carry a ball

Helps breaking tackles and i think making football moves and pathing.

Its worth is debatable. Certain backs have done quite well with a relatively low carrying stat.

"Carrying will also help you make moves to avoid or break tackles"

Its hard to quantify, but I think a back with higher carrying is going to get more out of his SAs than a back with low carrying.
