http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1137019 has 69 punting. I can do this over the next 3 levels (I have 10SP right now):
At L11, with 70 punting, spend 12SP to get to 73 punting
At L13, with 75 punting, spend 10SP to get to 77 punting

I can do that (to have 77 raw punting at L13) or start working on confidence ... which way is best?

I'm level 26 with raw punting at 75 (plus equip, 95)

top 5 in punt average for 3 seasons, while winning it at the BBB level.
currently leading the league despite most punters outleveling me (again)

So are you advocating punting or confidence? seems like even at L26 you only need 75pnt raw to get the job done; I'll have 84 raw at that level if i start working on con now

sorry for not making my point clearly.

I believe that confidence and vision are the key to punting consistently down field once punting (and in directly, strength) is at a suitable raw level.

So you may want to dump a few more points on punting depending on if you have CE or not and work the rest into confidence and vision.

Veteran % abilities work on the base ability level, so getting those extra 7 punting points will translate into another 1.05 punting at level 40.

Just something else to consider, long term.
