I have had a ridicolous decline in my stats!

Has anyone else had this problem?

If I had to guess, I'd say your CB is getting thrown at less.

through 7 games, one of my CBs has 4 tackles and 20 PDs. that is a good thing since he is used exclusively for WR1 coverage. my other guys have more, but they sometimes play strong side and blitz so they pick up more tackles.

its just that the last 3 seasons I have had:

9 int's - 33 pd's

8 int's - 31 pd's

12 int's - 43 pd's

This year through 7 games:

0 int's - 6 pd's


Just seems pretty weird

yes. it is hard to compare stats from season to season when you have so many variables in play. Have WR builds gotten better? have QBs gotten better? are you playing in a better league? did the game mechanics change?

I saw this one guy with 5 INTs in 5 straight games D-League though, but yes I saw a decline tbh.

The Canadian Pro League. Such a sudden decline seem weird.

I have a really good build.

I have been really succesful the last 5 years.

I have had some experts to look at my build, and they couldn't understand it.

Is it possible to contact bort to hear if he has changed some things?

If Bort has changed anything significant, he would have put it in the changelog. Trying to contact him for something as trivial as you thinking he changed something because your stats are down is pointless.

It's much more likely that you're simply facing tougher competition or better game planning.

Happened to me to I didn't get a pick in like the first 9 games.

I had a real drop off in INTs about when Bort changed Med coverage and added semi-aggressive last year. It could just be coincidence or have to do with other changes and build progression as well.

To me, it seemed like this was the 1st point where I started to see my guys do weird things, even with aggressive coverage. Prior to this my guys would occasionally get burned when trying to make a play on the ball, but in general would be "on" the dot they were covering even if the catch was made. After this they would do things like give permanent cushions to guys with much lower AGL/SPD, and the now famous keep moving while the WR stops and makes the catch play.

I also wonder if the reduction in ball velocity (and increase in angle) lowered WR deflections. I know last year a chunk of my PDs and INTs were off WR deflections. This might slip under the radar since they didn't show up on the stat sheet as drops since a PD or INT seems to cancel out a drop.

yea most of your PDs came in blowouts against cupcake teams. todays CBs are definitely disadvantaged. the passing game is VERY strong in GLB right now. Most QBs are completing passes at a ridiculous rate.
