They have some big strong possession receivers who have been very successful. Run a lot of quick route passing plays, so I don't expect to hurry the QB much...plus they hardly run the ball. How would you go about implementing a defensive strategy from a broad perspective? Not talking specific inputs, but more like cover 1..cover 0? Set your CBs to semi-aggressive...play it safe? Maybe implement some bigger backup safeties into your CB4-CB5 positions, or is there a decent amount of position penalty by doing that?

The wild are a good team, but you guys handled the war gods, and thats not easy to do. Seems to me their offenses are really similar.

I'd need more info than that sean. What forms are they primarily running? shot3, shot5 and single bakc I'd guess. What's their run percentage out of the single back if that's their primary running form? If they air the ball out a ton and hardly ever run the ball, I'd just run 317 schemes a lot. Against the 3WR sets, maybe some cover 2, playing the LB in an underneath zone if they like throwing short over the middle, and running blitzes from the CB positions. Against the 5WR sets, that all depends how your safeties are built. If they have CB speed and agility, I like manning them up in cover 0 nickel and blitzing the MLB/LOLB strong-side, or running some CB3/CB5 blitzes fromt eh 317 C0/C1. Again, if they like throwing over the middle w/ the 5WR short/med routes, crop the LB in underneath coverage.
