So When starting a kicker whens the best time to stop throwing points into kicking and start throwing points into Conf and such?

If you stop at 68, including equip you'll end up with over 120 K/P in your late 30s. For this reason, I saw no need to ever spend more than 3:1. Others spend up toward 80, I think that's a waste of opportunity

Agreed. Heck, with my K all I did was take Kicking to the 2nd cap IMMEDIATELY with every SP I had, then focused on Strength. At level 25, he'll be at 94 with EQ, and At level 29 he'll be at 97.

Another thought process is to train the ability up to 90ish% before you spend the SP so you can easily train up one more point instead of paying 4:1 or 5:1.

Edit: deleted additional comments due to wrong cap numbers.

that is not "another thought process" but rather one to add upon the SP allotment strategy you choose. that is to say, you should do both, not choose

When training confidence or vision or strength no longer gives you a maximum return.

Don't look at it as "when to stop putting points into kicking" and look at it as "when to start using points on vision"

I took mine to 60 I think, then capped confidence to 48 to take advantage of the natural leveling. Then way back to kicking.. I think if I had to do it again I'd just go straight to 68 kicking. That seems like plenty with the automatic leveling gains
