"The Clutch ability gives this player various bonuses towards making plays [in clutch situations]".

What does that mean for a CB? Would that be a bonus towards certain attributes or perhaps a boost to intercept chance/deflect chance/FF chance? The wording is so horribly vague...

Don't worry about it, max long reach/showboat/and track star before worrying about that

substitute quick for track star and i agree.

Or I can try to understand what Clutch actually does so I can decide for myself... but I doubt anyone actually knows (or has even thought about) what it does for CBs.

it is so ambiguous that even if you started performing better no one would believe you. there is no way that you could pinpoint the exact effect. there are just too many factors in play.

id go for clutch and hope for the best.
