My LOLB built to mainly cover TE's has a problem with routes the suddenly stop. He takes atleast another 2-3 steps and by that time the TE is open and ball already on its way to him. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=297374&pbp_id=3315849

Is this a build problem or a tactics problem? Without giving too much away, I'm over 85 Speed but under 95, over 50 vision under 60, little over 45 tackling, little over 50 strength, little over 45 stamina, little over 35 confidence...

at the time my tactics were both set on medium, would close/semi-agg be better? or med/semi-agg?

what is your agility between?

If your agility is high, higher than vision, then I would go close/semi-aggressive.

The TE has the quick cut SA and your agility to speed ratio is too high. This is the drawback of high speed LB's. Agree with trying semi aggressive.

High Route Running could explain it too, but yeah, agility is priority #1.
